The tears flowed tonight. Maureen passed away with David at her side, after an afternoon of zorbing "that were better than wine tasting!", and David made sure they had one last dance together. So incredibly sad. Reece and Steve both tremendously moving in each role :-( Chris finally returned to see Shahrouz and found chained and drugged up, whilst Hattie paraded around for belated wedding snaps. Freaky! Jelly and Mrs Wren going to the cryogenics place... brilliant. And poor Jelly reclaiming his hand only to drop it and it smash... so unfair. Reece did a great job with the Jolly voice, so hysterically camp. Tealeaf and Peter Bishop tracked Debbie down only to learn she gave the locket to Hattie, who they con out of it. And then what do we learn? Nurse K has kept her father's head frozen at the cryogenics place too, in the hope of reviving him? Looks that way. So Jelly and Mrs Wren are now bound for London. Poor Jeremy being quizzed by Detective Finney about his time at Ravenhill... and then for it to transpire that he was admitted for mild exhaustion and thenstayed there voluntarily to help Nurse K with her reseach into "the secret of life itself Inspector...". Reece was stunning in the cell scenes. All the little looks and frowns and twitches, and how he seemed so lucid suddenly. Wonderful to watch.
All you could want from a show. Sadness, humour, scares. Great stuff.
