Series II Episode 3

What an upsetting ep... poor Oscar! I really thought Jelly was going to be the one this week, as it seemed he'd been lured to the house. Very very sad :-( The whole idea of Jelly performing the operation was great, and so awkward! Great to see Reece with Nick Burns and Kulvinder Ghir, his Ghost Stories and Comedians co-stars. David and the Citizens Advice guy and the whole Stangers on a Train gag was beautifully done too - "I can't chase the Thunderball forever because in that way lies madness...". Hattie makes me squirm... Steve is doing a good job with her. And then Jeremy and Silent Singer - great stuff. The scene with the reflection in the glasses, and his quiet way yet agitated way of speaking... eek! He was very unsettling, and Silent Singer outside the window, God!

Re: Series II Episode 3

I watched episodes 2 and 3 in a row, and I liked them, they were best than the first. But I'm perplexed: will they come to a proper end with only 3 more episodes to go? To say the truth I don't like much the parts with Imelda Staunton: she's a great actress but that part seems not in tone with the rest, it seems out of Fringe. Massive Dynamics stuff... maybe I'm wrong but that's my impression. Hattie made me squirm... what an evil woman! Steve is really great in it. And the librarian is more and more creepy. much more than the "Lynch" Silent Singer for me.

Re: Series II Episode 3

I think they will, I really want to know what that locket is all about! I do like Grace - we need to know more about her ;-) In the last few episodes we should learn more as it reaches the climax. The scenes with Jeremy in the bedroom were so creepy... Reece is doing a great job. Yes Hattie makes me squirm too! Poor Lomax though, so so sad.
