Good list here of Reece's ten best ghosts in the Guardian - love that five of mine are in there :-) The Haunting will always be top with me - you never see anything solid, but the sounds and the shadows are enough - and always liked that she was called Eleanor!

i read the review list and was intrigued by the last pick of reece's ten best ghosts the "stray dog" ,i wondered what it was about as i

had never heard of robert aikman or the tale,the part of the review he put about stray dog which fascinated me the most was when he said read it if you dare (or something along those lines) so i went on wikipedia to find out which book the story was in and then had a look on amazon and i am going to order the cold hand in mine book which the story is featured in,i tweeted reece to tell him i'm going to order the book,dunno why i tweeted to tell him this tbh *shrugs* but still lol :)
