According to one of Mr Dyson's tweets a fake profile has been set up using Reece's name - so if you see @theRealReeceS around don't be fooled or tempted to follow as Reece confirmed to Jeremy that it isn't him, to dispel any belief that it was.

Shame the man won't sign up though - it would be fab to know what he's up to :)

I didn't even know that there was someone called @theRealReeceS on Twitter.

Some guy had posted it on the Facebook page last night, I spotted it this morning. It said "Reece has started Twittering. @TheRealReeceS. Should be fun." I typed it into Twitter to see if it was correct but it couldn't find the username - so I thought Reece had done like Steve did - created an account but then decided aganst it and deleted it. But then Jeremy tweeted that it was totally fake....

I think that the guy who posted it on Facebook is more than likely the one who is posing as him. I've deleted it off the page now though so none of the fans try to follow it.

I have read Jeremy's tweet and have wondered because I searched for Reece weeks or even months ago just for fun, if someone pretends to be him, but I haven't found anything. I knew, of course, that there wouldn't be Reece himself. Meanwhile I looked at this account to see what's written on it. I don't think Reece would really write something like that.

It was a real good idea to delete it. I really hate these fake accounts.

Yes I've looked for him before - but he's a wallflower - he wouldn't want to put himself out there... terrible shame.

What's creepy is that this character is still tweeting - they've replied to Jeremy:

"You are such a tease dyson! Again your paranoia gets the better of you. You even talk to me whem im not there"

The sooner Twitter deletes the account the better. It's dumb, that they think people would believe it's Reece.

EDIT - ok now it says the tweets were done Sunday morning. Bizarre.

Yeah. Twitter should delete this account as soon as possible. No fan of Reece would believe that it's him. There are just 3 followers anyway. So, it seems that no one believes it.

Strange. And there was a reply to Jimmy Carr (if I remember correct) that is deleted now.

Most of you on Twitter will know that this person has been merrily tweeting people for the last month or so - I posted in the news section this morning warning people not to follow The RealReeceS and good old Richard Bacon has now posted a warning tweet about the account, telling people that it isn't Reece - I also retweeted it using the RS Twitter account.

Yes, absolutely.

His tweets are protected now. And it looks like there are a few people who stopped following him.

Good news folks - after several of us reporting the TheRealReeceS to Twitter after that dreadful comment to Richard Bacon - I then let Claire at PBJ know that she could also complain about the account as Reece's representative. She thanked me for letting her know and said she would contact Twitter. Thus this evening, the account TheRealReeceS has "been suspended due to stange activity." :D
